OverviewNeural Engineering is a new discipline interfacing between neurobiology, engineering and physical sciences. This area creates opportunities for engineers and scientists to work together to address issues (in the brain) that were considered too difficult to comprehend. Neural engineering offers promises to fight neurodegenerative diseases with devices, not drugs and it lays foundations for many great engineering applications using bio-inspired engineering principles. Following a week-long intensive course (3 - 7 Nov 2014) in Neural Engineering, we have lined up an excellent list of speakers from North America and Asia for this focused program from various sub-disciplines related to neural engineering. We look forward to welcoming you to IAS and to join this exciting program to brainstorm, interact and discuss timely research topics in neural engineering.
