Details will be available in due course.

Since 2015, the HKUST Jockey Club Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) has held the High Energy Physics (HEP) conference jointly with the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IHEP), Beijing, China, for 3-4 days (usually around January 20) to discuss future HEP to be studied at different colliders, such as ILC, CLIC, CEPC, FCC, LHC and so on (Click here for the related activities held in HEP 2019).

Since 2017, mini-workshops have been arranged right before the IAS HEP conference for two days encouraging the participants to also attend the HEP conference. The previous two mini-workshops were on superconducting magnets technologies and polarized beam for colliders, respectively.

Next year, we will hold a mini-workshop on machine detector interface (MDI) for future colliders, such as ILC, CLIC, CEPC, FCC, LHC, Super B, Super Tau-charm, eRich, Jliec, NICA, etc. on January 16-17, 2020 and the IAS HEP conference will be held on January 20-22, 2020.

The aim of this mini-workshop is to invite experts of MDI from very different colliders to exchange and share their experiences and knowledge with many common interests, and to promote collaborations among them.
